Saucony Progrid Kinvara Review - Features On The Saucony Progrid Kinvara

By Ted Parry

One thing that makes the Saucony ProGrid Kinvara what it is, is the notion that less is more. It does this by giving you an extremely lightweight yet cushioned run. In this review i will go over some of the features that make this a worthwhile running shoe.

This running shoe is so lightweight due to the materials that are used on it. The materials are used extensively and while they make it lightweight it also helps for moisture transport during the run. This moisture transport system helps to keep the running shoe dry.

While it has a moisture management system it also has a carbon rubber outsole offering traction that helps keep your feet on the road or treadmill. Having good durability is important in any running shoe as it adds to the longevity and shock absorption that you can get.

The rubber might add to shock absorption but technology on the back of the heel is specifically made to absorb shock and make a soft and cushioned feel. This technology is called Heel ProGrid and disperses shock across the running shoe making the Saucony Progrid Kinvara a reliable trainer.

Also something which is uncommon on many stability running trainers are triangular traction grips on the bottom, the Saucony ProGrid Kinvara has this in place to provide proper traction and durability. Traction and durability helps as you will be able to keep your balance much better if you have traction and having good durability adds to the life of the running trainer.
