The outsole is the main attraction of this shoe. With small ridges and lugs aggressively positioned all over the outsole, the Saucony Peregrine offers substantial grip on muddy and rocky surfaces. Made out of tough carbon fiber material, the outsole is built to last longer. However, because of the aggressive use of furrows and ridges, the shoe caught a lot of mud and rock which was sometimes hard to get off during the trek.
